Almost a Love Story is the story of two individuals who are perfect together, but are completely wrong for each other in society's eyes. Pero gagawin nila ang lahat para patunayan that love knows no boundaries.
Playing the lead roles are two of GMA-7's brightest stars: TJ Trinidad as Rommel, and Rhian Ramos as Hannah. And this is their fourth project together, after acting together in the movie The Promise, and the two prime time series Zorro and Stairway to Heaven.
The love story of Hannah and Rommel begins on the onset of summer. Isang responsible pero fun-loving, girl si Hannah, and she hits it off quickly with Rommel na happy-go-lucky naman. A genuine friendship develops between the two, and soon it evolves into love. Pero may isang malaking hadlang sa kanilang dalawa--isang hadlang that spans eight years. Hannah is only 15, while Rommel is already 24.
Pagbabawalan sina Rommel at Hannah na makipagkita sa isa’t isa. But the two make a pact. Every year, Rommel would visit Hannah on her birthday, and she would turn her lights on para ipakita na naghihintay pa rin siya kay Rommel.
Pero sa pagkawala ni Rommel, Hannah becomes involved with Luigi, (Paulo Avelino childhood friend who becomes her default boyfriend. After graduating from college, he proposes to Hannah.
Ibang-iba na ang buhay ni Hannah, and she's finally on top of her game. Pero a twist of fate brings Rommel back into her life and she begins to fall in love with him, all over again.
Kaya bang i-give up ni Hannah ang lahat ng kanyang nagawa sa buhay just for a chance to make it work with Rommel? Matatanggap na ba ng kani-kanilang mga magulang at mahal sa buhay ang relationship nila despite their age gap? Or will the two learn that their summer romance was just that--a summer romance that ended six years ago?
Dear Friend: Almost a Love Story begins this Sunday, January 31, sa Linggo Binggo ng GMA, pagkatapos ng SOP Fully Charged.
Directed by Topel Lee, and supervised by headwriter Denoy Navarro-Punio, Almost a Love Story also stars Arci Muñoz, Stef Prescott, Cris Villanueva, Joanne Quintas, Jimwel Stevens, Melissa Mendez, Dex Quindoza and Jace Flores.

paano ba sumulat sa dear friend? kasi di ko alam eh! pwede po ba paturo? pls po naman. pag sumulat ako dun abangan mo po. Kwento ni Jake at Pam; Carla and Christian; and Bernard and Nathalie. Abangan nyo po yun! Title "Dancing in the Isle".

Can't wait for TJ and Rhian to have a teleserye. I really like their team-up. Casting them for Almost a Love Story is one of the best decisions GMA 7 has ever made.

hayz grabe nakakaralate ako haha :D kaso lng d naman ganun un gap namn gap ko lng sa knya 4 yr lng haha :D ang ganda ng palabas gus2 ko na talga mapanood un bago kaso illabs pa sa linggo exited na ko sana d mataps un palabas na 2 ang ganda talga kac!!

wew......... parang ako, yata ahh... na naging crush ko yung ultimate crush kong celebrity c rhian, hehehe.... nung paglabas palang ni rhian sa mcdo advertise dun na ako nagsimulang magandahan sa kanya at nung naging leah na siay sa captain barbell, dun na tuloy tuloy na until now, hehehe. rhian ingat!. ganda mo.

Know what.. this sounds almost exactly as our love story..^_^ 15 din ako dati nung nainlove kay 19 ngaun I’m 17 and he’s 21. Love story din namin begins with summer. Nakilala ko sya sa imeem and became my kuya and bestfriend. Sya lang ang only guy na nakausap ko na ganung heart to heart talk. Not only that, we share similar beliefs and interests. Everyday, sabik na sabik ako na mabasa comments nya na pagkahaba haba na nirereplayan ko rin nga kasinghaba nun. Masarap syang kausap, and we share a mutual bond with each other. Para bang open na open kami sa isa’t isa na nasasabi na namin ang mga secrets namin. Natatakot kaming paghiwalayin ng five years dahil sa studies ko. My mom and dad was against it.Masakit dahil akala namin, after 5 years nalang uli kami magkikita. That was one day na bigla syang nagdecide na magkita kami. Umuulan ng araw nayon and nasa church kami, saying our final goodbye. Pero promise namin na magkikita kami sa debut ko. Then naging kami 3 days after the start of my college life. Nan
