Tapos na ang Christmas, pero 3 out of the 11 survivors on stage last December 27 ay nakatanggap pa ng regalo, ang mga awards for the Christmas Kiss Flick challenge they faced during the previous week! Text by Jason John S. Lim. Photos by Naomi V. Pitargue.

From December 23 to 25, StarStruck fans were invited to join the live elimination night on December 27. Nope, hindi para panoorin ang matatanggal that night—but rather to vote for the Best Kiss from the six Christmas Kiss Flicks features na ginawa ng 11 survivors.

At ang nanalo? Ang Christmas Marriage Proporsal Kiss Flick nina Rocco Nacino at Princess Snell.

"Nagulat ako," inamin ni Rocco sa iGMA.tv after the show. "Kasi ang alam ko, 'yung audience ang magvo-vote." He tells us na bukod sa family niya, kaunting fans lang raw niya ang dumating. So winning the award with Princess was really something. "Siguro nagustuhan nila 'yung kiss namin ni Princess."

Princess is happy for the award too, pero being included in the bottom group for the second time in a row had dampened its glory for her. Ika nga niya, "okay lang na mawalan ako ng award, basta hindi ako mapunta sa bottom three."

Director's Choice

During the acting tests, Rocco and Princess were pitted against Piero Vergara and Diva Montelaba to compete for the titles Best Actor and Best Actress for the Christmas Kiss Flicks challenge. And for this test, the four acted alongside one of GMA-7's hottest love teams: Aljur Abrenica and Kris Bernal.

Using only one scene, apat na iba't-ibang interpretations ang naipakita ng apat na survivors. But in the end, dalawang survivors lang ang puwedeng tumanggap ng award—at ng eventual immunity. And they were: Diva and Rocco.

Diva is very happy na she was picked as the best female performer for the second time in a row. "Nafi-feel ko talaga na—alam mo 'yung kumuha ka ng award kasi pinaghirapan mo ng sobra? Tapos hindi mo pa ine-expect?"

The female contender does not discount the capabilities of her competition. "Mabibigat rin 'yung mga kalaban ko." And this makes winning the award all the more special for her. That, and the fact that while she was toiling for this particular award, her family was celebrating Christmas in Cebu—without her.

Though, Diva is quick to add, "kahit malayo sila, for sure tumalon-talon sila sa tuwa."

She also admits na this second award will add pressure sa mga susunod nilang acting challenges. This time, it was Sarah Lahbati who was given the added pressure by acting in two Kiss Flicks. Next time, si Diva naman ang mas titignan ng mga tao—to see if she really deserves her best acting award. To which Diva says, "Abangan niyo ang mas palaban at mas kabilib-bilib na Diva."

Si Rocco naman, nakaka-apat na awards na. And like he always says, "masarap malaman na 'yung hard work na ibinibigay mo, it pays off."

Kuwento sa amin ng binata, "ginagawa ko lang naman 'yung 100%, hard work lang naman." And now, Rocco says he has to remind himself always not to let his awards get to his head.

"Although naka-apat na awards ako, ‘wag lalaki ang ulo." Rocco says that every time they face a new challenge, he tells himselfs na wag itong iba-balewala. "Yun 'yung unang-una kong sinasabi sa sarili ko every week."

And though he already has four awards to his belt, Rocco has no plans of giving way for his fellow male survivors. Because StarStruck V is a competition. "Pag ginawa ko ‘yun, siguro patay ako."

10 survivors na lang ang natitira! But you can bet na lalo pang titindi ang mga challenges na haharapin nila!    good coments to ha!!! DIVA galingan mo! alam mo s totoo lang, ikaw n talaga ang panalo, kasi nandyan na sayo lahat ng talent, singing, dancing, and acting, wag kang mag-alala suportado ka namin, basta trust your self and be confident af anything you do.    Diva galingan mo at alam ko na kaya mo yan at ikaw talagah ang gusto ko na manalo kasi nakikita ko naman na magaling ka talagah at parati ko sinusubaybayan ang starstruck V kahit andito ako sa Florida USA.GO go go go diva ur the best.....Good luck!
