Carla Abellana
Carla was a relative unknown in the year 2009. After starring in a couple of commercials, and attending the wedding of a friend, Carla was discovered by GMA-7 and launched as the Pinay Rosalinda. After showing her dramatic side sa Rosalinda, she then showed her comic timing sa Carinderia Queen, and her hosting skills as one of the new hosts ng StarStruck V. And this year, sigurado na lalo pang mamamayagpag ang career ni Carla!
Geoff Eigenmann
Balik-Kapuso si Geoff in 2009, and he showed na malaki na ang improvement niya since his teenybopper days! After his serious turns in Ganti ng Puso and Rosalinda, isang makulit na Geoff naman ang humarap sa atin sa Carinderia Queen! Pero sa kanyang pagkakapasok sa cover ng isang men's health magazine, at ang kanyang action-oriented role sa Ang Panday, mukhang may bagong side na naman si Geoff na ipakikita sa atin this year.
Kris Bernal
In 2009, tuluyang tumingkad ang kinang ng love team nina Aljur Abrenica at Kris Bernal. Sumabak na rin si Kris sa mas matitindi at mas mature na mga eksena through Dapat Ka Bang Mahalin? and All My Life. Pero hindi pa rin iniwan nang lubusan ni Kris ang kanyang sweet image sa taong ito, in 2010, ano naman kaya ang gagawiin ni Kris?
TJ Trinidad
TJ is not new to the entertainment industry, and he's not new to being a leading man. Pero after ng kanyang very versatile performances sa Zorro, Stairway to Heaven, and ngayon sa Sana Ngayong Pasko, TJ is definitely gaining more and more fans. Sino ba naman ang hindi mai-in love kay Tristan, 'di ba?
Chariz Solomon
So what kung hindi siya nanalo sa StarStruck: the Next Level, winner naman ang tinakbo ng career ni Chariz last 2009! Making a name for herself sa genre ng comedy and hosting, Chariz is definitely here to stay. At matapos ng kanyang agaw-eksenang performance sa Adik sa 'Yo, tuloy pa rin ang shining moments niya sa Full House. Kaya naman she is definitely one girl we don't mind seeing more of ngayong 2010.
Akihiro Sato
Hindi naging balakid for Akihiro ang language barrier in 2009! Matapos ang kanyang career-making appearance sa Celebrity Duets, nagsunud-sunod na ang mga projects ng model-actor through Moshi, Moshi, I Love You and Darna. With his foreign, but familiar, good looks, siguradong mas marami pang paiibigin itong Brazilian-Japanese na ito ngayong taon. That is, if his Tagalog gets better.
La Diva
With an album, two successful concerts, and a very strong fanbase behind them, Jonalyn Viray, Aicelle Santos and Maricris Garcia are definitely set to rise up in the music industry this year as La Diva. Born from a segment in SOP, the three girls are without a doubt reaching new heights in their respective careers.
Joshua Dionisio and Barbie Forteza
Joshua and Barbie made people believe in first love again. Bilang mga batang Cholo at Jodi sa Stairway to Heaven, the two made even the coldest hearts feel love again. A feat they replicated sa kanilang special Christmas presentation for Dear Friend. This year, the two will be making more hearts beat faster when they star in a television series of their own!
StarStruck V
At siyempre pa, StarStruck V had fourteen very talented contenders before the year ended in 2009. And once matapos nila ang training ng kanilang mga mentors sa singing, dancing, acting, imaging and grooming, siguradong may mga sisikat na stars once matapos ang competition na ito!

La DIVA, epecially Jonalyn Viray, whooo with vocal prowess na walang katapat. Bigyan uli ng chance to do a solo performance sa SOP. Sarah Labhati, Rocco Nacino, JC Tiuseco, Maxene Magalona and of course ALJUR ABRENICA.

Sana magkaroon ulit ng telenovela si Geoff at Carla. Talagang nakakakilig ang chemistry nilang dalawa. OK sila sa comedy. Enjoy ko and Carinderia Queen. More projects for the two please!

Please include Jake Vargas as one of the stars to look out for this year 2010. This kid has a lot of potential also. Not just Joshua Dionisio and Barbie Forteza. Maybe it is time also to give Jake his own partner. Please do not take him for granted. And Marvin Fiefer is also a potential.

Wow sosyal! I will definitely look forward not only for these budding actors but the new shows gma will offer in 2010! Sana nga lang as time goes by, gma7 will develop original stories rather than remaking and remaking old soaps or korean series. ;-)

You've hit a jockpotwith Joshua and Barbie. Just don't rush them to grow up. Actually, you can revive TGIS with them in the lead. It's a good chance for the other young talents in your stable.
