'Ikaw Sana' is set to start on September 21, 2009 replacing the Aljur-Kris show, 'All My Life'. Starring Mark Herras, Jennylyn Mercado and Pauleen Luna, this show is a reunion of sorts sa prime time Telebabad block ng GMA. Text by Loretta G. Ramirez, Photos by Mio de Castro
Sa press launch ng pinaka bagong prime time show ng GMA, ang Ikaw Sana, nagmistulang reunion ang nangyari dahil bukod sa ito ang balik tambalan nila Mark Herras at Jennylyn Mercado, after the very successful Dramarama series- Paano Ba Ang Mangarap?, this is also Pauleen Luna's reunion with Mark and Jen, and of course Direk Joel Lamangan, after the critically-acclaimed movie Blue Moon.
Direk Joel made known his feelings sa reunion na ito bago pa man magsimula ang press conference.
"Excited, because ngayon po ay idi-direk ko ang isa sa mga most bankable love teams ngayon-- si Jennylyn at Mark Herras. Nakasama ko na ang dalawa sa Paano Ba Ang Mangarap? sa Dramarama. Magtratrabaho na naman kami this time sa Telebabad. Excited po ako dahil challenging ito. But along with the show's staff and crew malakas ang pakiramdam ko na this would be a great success. Actually, this is sort of a reunion sa aming apat nila Jennylyn, Pauleen at ni Mark, dahil dati na po kaming magkasama sa isang pelikula na ginawa ko para sa film festival, ang Blue Moon," ang pahayag ng multi-awarded director.
Dinagdagan pa ito ng AVP for Drama ng GMA, na si Ms. Lilybeth Rasonable, with an explanation kung bakit nila naiisip ang reunion na ito sa prime time.
"Noong una naming inisip kung ano ang ipapalit sa All My Life, ano 'yung susunod naming gagawin, talagang iisang couple lang ang naisip namin at iyon ay si Mark at si Jennylyn. Kasi napatunayan nila na 'yung tambalan nila ay talagang napaka solid at matatag kahit anong pinagdaanan nila, sila pa din. At napatunayan din nila na kaya nilang mag heavy drama at hindi na 'yung pa-tweetums after Paano Ba Ang Mangarap?, which garnered very high ratings. We are very confident that Ikaw Sana will even surpass that. "
A tried and tested formula and one of the strongest love team in the country, Ikaw Sana will no doubt bring us another interesting story that will entertain our Telebabad nights.

right word ms lilybeth they are 1 of the bankable loveteam and finally, for long wait mgsisimula na ngayong lunes ang ikaw sana. very excited kami kasi matagal-tagal din kaming mga fans nghintay sa markjen tandem. good luck and god bless sa inyong show.
