Just yesterday, sa 'SOP', nasaksihan natin ang launching ng pinaka-aabangan pagbabalik ng talent show sa Pilipinas, ang ‘StarStruck’. At para kay Stef Prescott, ang isa sa mga alumnae nito, her experiences from the last season ay well worth the effort. Text by Erick Mataverde with interviews by Loretta G. Ramirez. When iGMA talked to StarStruck: The Next Level Avenger, Stef Prescott about the return of Starstruck on its fifth season, siya ay more than willing na nag-share ng kanyang mga pananaw at sariling karanasan dito.
"Once you get into showbiz, marami kang priorities na dapat ibahin, 'yun nga – if ever na magiging super, super busy ka, you have to choose between school, mawawalan ka ng oras para sa family mo, para sa lovelife mo," ang deretsahang pahayag ni Stef sa amin.
Pero Stef explains na kasama talaga ang mga sakripisyong ito if ever one decides to enter the world of show business. It would require all of your concentration to succeed.
"Kasi sa StarStruck talaga it’s actually yourself against yourself eh." paliwanag niya. "'Yung mga contestants, hindi mo masyado maiisip. Mas matatakot ka sa mga bagay na kakayanin mo. Hindi mo masyado iisipin 'yung mga ginagawa nila."
And she also confesses na bittersweet talaga ang mga experiences niya simula nung sumali siya sa reality talent search na ito.
"Ang pinakamahirap was the vote-offs. Kasi you were with them four months everyday, spending almost everyday together tapos, in front of them you have to say kung sino 'yung gusto mong mapauwi. Mahirap 'yung part na 'yun," kuwento ni Stef. “And also 'yung mga fans hindi nila alam 'yung nangyayari sa loob.”
"I think 'yung biglang shock from becoming no one, to being watched every night and having people judge you. So, I think the whole transition of becoming a showbiz personality was the biggest test for me."
Pero bakit nga ba talaga madaming tao ang nae-enganyo na sumali sa StarStruck? Stef was more than happy to answer that for us.
"Why join StarStruck? Because there is no other experience like it. I think 'yung [opportunity na ] you're working on TV, your whole life is being shown on TV, and dreams do come true there," deklara niya. "Starstuck is the biggest thing, dreams do come true and every batch you can see people na nagiiba talaga 'yung buhay nila."

dapat sa batch 6 ng STARSTRUCK nxtyear, dapat pure filipina or filipino na ung kukunin nio hndi ung puro mai lahi o half ung kinikuha nio.it so unfair.madaming pilipina jan na magaganda at mdaming pilipino na guapo kahit walang lahi.pustahan tau, sa batch 5 sure,mai mga lahi kukunin nila para sa final 14. VERY UNFAIR.
