Starting November 15, 2008, balik telebisyon ang hit quiz bee na based sa popular TV show sa na US 'Are You Smarter than a Fifth Grader?' Hosted by Janno Gibbs, ang nagiisang Chairman of the Blackboard, tiyak na kagigiliwan ng mga manonood ang season 2 ng 'Kakasa Ka Ba sa Grade 5'? Text by Loretta G. Ramirez. Photos by Loretta G. Last November 9, 2008, official nang ina-announce ang pagbabalik ng Kakasa Ka Ba sa Grade 5? na pinangugunahan ng actor/singer/host na si Janno Gibbs. Kasama ng mga bagong classmates, sampung mga grade 5 students na nagmula sa iba’t ibang schools from Metro Manila, tiyak na mayroon na naman tayong aabangan na programa tuwing Sabado ng gabi.

Back from a trip to Australia, Janno admitted to be very excited about this coming season of Kakasa Ka Ba sa Grade 5?

"Sobrang excited ako kasi from the first season gustong gusto ko talaga 'yung show. I really enjoyed it ang dami kong natutunan, nai-inform ka, hindi ka lang basta host e, you are learning again parang ganun, parang student ka ulit," ang salaysay ng Chairman of the Blackboard.

Dinagdag pa niya na kung nagustuhan ng mga manonood 'yung unang season ng game show, tiyak na matutuwa ang mga loyal viewers ng Kakasa Ka Bas a Grade 5? dahil wala namang nabago sa programa.

"Kasi ang focus naman talaga ng show is the game itself. Wala ka naman dapat baguhin doon. We just improved on the set at may bagong kids," pahayag ni Janno sa iGMA.

Ang bagong classmates

Katulad ng nasabi ni Janno, may bagong set ng classmates ang show. Sampung matatalino at cute na mga bata ang napili ng programa upang tumulong sa mga contestants during the game.

"They are very bright, cute din eh, may kanya kanyang personality," ang salaysay ni Janno na napatunayan ng press people sa press launch ng show. In fact, most of the press conference questions were directed at these new classmates themselves.

Watch out for David Omilla (Claret School of Quezon City), Jules Cyber Cruz (Lourdes School of Mandaluyong), Matthew Kyle Oronce (Diliman Preparatory School), Gloria Viloria Larin (Lagro Elem. School), Michael Brian Alvarez (Lourdes School of Mandaluyong), Pauline Allyson Abalos (University of the Philippines Integrated School), Louis Luthy (Claret School of Quezon City), Ram Louis del Mundo (Colegio de San Juan de Letran), Katherine Anne Pavino (Colegio San Agustin) and Russel Krashmere Garcia (Colegio San Agustin) on this new season of Kakasa Ka Ba sa Grade 5?
