Central, Isabel Oli took on the Central Jury for a no holds barred tête-à-tête. Addressing the issues and rumors about her and longtime beau, Paolo Contis, this Cebuana beauty's honesty was a refreshing break from the intrigues of show business.
Birthday celebrant Mo Twister and Rufa Mae Quinto were forthcoming in asking Isabel Oli about her relationship with Paolo Contis. First, they asked her about the rumors that she is meddling with Paolo's career and that some people are accusing her of stopping Paolo from doing sexy projects.
Isabel vehemently said that she is not a stage girlfriend and added
that "Kung ano'ng gusto ni Pao, kung anong mga decisions niya, okey lang sa akin talaga. Wala, hindi ko siya pinapakialaman." She added that that she even supported Paolo's stint at the Cosmo (magazine) Bachelor's Bash last month. "May ipapakita naman siya, so, why not."
The young actress also clarified the reason why they broke up last year.
"We needed time to grow alone," she explained. "Medyo busy talaga kaming dalawa nun. Hindi kami halos nagkikita na talaga, text-text lang and for me hindi na talaga siya normal, parang ganoon, so, we decided na rest muna kami. ‘Yon lang naman talaga. No third party or sawaan issue."
The break-up lasted for six months but now that they are back in each other's arms, people are speculating whether there will be wedding bells ringing any time soon.
"Hindi pa kami engaged talaga. Siyempre yung girlfriend-boyfriend stage, di ba, minsan nagpapa-cute na dapat ganito yong wedding gown ko, ganyan yon, di ba? Parang ganoon lang din. May mga plans kami na dapat ganito, dapat ganito yong food natin, isi-serve yong mga ganyan lang. Sobrang small things lang pero walang date, walang engagement pa," shared Isabel.
The interview ended with Isabel choosing the Killer Task which asked her to prove that there is no friction between her and Nadine Samonte.
"No, hindi kami nagpaplastikan. Nagkaroon lang ng misunderstanding dati kasi nga walang chance na maging close kami sobrang lahat eksena niya, eksena ko sa kabilang unit, ganyan. Pero okey kami. I'm so happy that, ngayon, parang mas close kami and para nga kaming sisters," confirmed Isabel.
The Central Jurors, then called Nadine to join them on stage and asked her what was the real score from her side of the fence. Nadine revealed that there was indeed a minor misunderstanding during the
days they were doing Maging Akin Ka Lamang. The lack of communication made it worse.
"Hindi kami nagkakaintidihan. Kasi may mga nagsasabi sa kanya na 'ganito' daw ako or "ganyan' or 'ganoon,' so, siyempre parang nadadala ka na sa ganun pero after nun, nung time ng Maging Akin Ka Lamang, nagkausap naman kami ni Isabel then, 'ayun nag-explain kami sa isa't isa," cleared Nadine who afterwards said that she and Isabel have always been friends. –Showbiz Central
