SIS had everyone blushing on the set last August 12 when the female trio played kilig-worthy games with a select group of young love teams. Read up for the roundup! Text by Jillian Q. Gatcheco, with interview excerpts from SIS. Photos by Mitch S. Mauricio.
Titled “Kilig na kwento, kiss mo ko,” the consequence for each game was to kiss, of course!
Primetime drama hit makers JC de Vera and Yasmien Kurdi, Dyesebel co-stars Aljur Abrenica and Kris Bernal, and best friends Prince Stefan and Rich Asuncion graced the SIS set.
Are they kilig-worthy?
For the first segment, the hosts asked each pair a controversial question. Selected audience members then rated their responses “kilig-wise,” and the team up who failed to impress them had to kiss!
Aljur answered the first question: if it’s true that he and Kris go out on dates frequently, what else does he want to know about her?
“Sa akin, gusto kong itanong sa kanya kung masaya ba siya sa akin,” he said, while giving Kris a sweet smile. “Kasi ako, masaya ako. I’m happy.”
With the obvious chemistry of the two, the three hosts just had to ask if they were an official item already.
“Hindi pa kami, pero sabi nga niya, masaya kami sa isa’t-isang company. Napamahal na siya sa akin, at napamahal na rin ako sa kanya,” replied Aljur. Kris, on the other hand, just nodded (and blushed) in agreement!
Next up were Yasmien and JC. Is it true that they disagree a lot?
“Hindi naman kami nagkakatampuhan,” answered JC. “Syempre, pag magkasama kayo parati tapos kilalang-kilala niyo na ang isa’t-isa…minsan mayroon ding maliliit na tampuhan, [pero] mga iringan lang.”
Since the audience didn’t get as kilig as they did with Aljur’s answer, Yasmien and JC had to kiss. They did -- on the lips!
“Sabi ko na nga ba, hindi ito punishment, e!” exclaimed Carmina Villaroel. Co-host Gelli de Belen quickly remarked, “Akala ko sa cheek lang!”
Rich and Prince were the last ones on the hot seat. The question was if Rich were to choose a gift from Prince, would it be chocolates, flowers, or a cake?
“Flowers, kasi mas romantic, at may buhay! Alam mo na ‘yung pagmamahal [niya] may kulay,” Rich replied.
Again, the two were “punished” because Rich’s answer didn’t get a perfect score from the audience. As a result, Prince pecked Rich on the cheek.
How well do you know me?
The next game segment tested each pair’s familiarity with each other and these were the revelations:
Kris and Aljur, together with Rich and Prince, had their first kiss with their respective partners during their StarStruck days. Yasmien and JC, on the other hand, had theirs for a taping of Pati Ba Pintig ng Puso.
When asked where they went for their first “alone time” together, Prince and Rich both answered Gateway Mall in Cubao, Quezon City, while Yasmien and JC said it was at Barrakz Bar in Tomas Morato, Quezon City.
Aljur forgot the answer, so he had to kiss Kris as a consequence! Apparently, their first date was at Trinoma, Quezon City, where they ate Japanese food which was Kris’s favorite!
Kiss me!
For the final game segment, Rich and Prince gave a message for each other.
“Rich, malayo na rin yung naabot natin mula noong StarStruck. Thank you very much sa friendship at [sa] pagiging sweet mo sa akin,” said Prince.
“Thank you din, Prince, sa pagiging parang kapatid ko. Sana hindi ka magbago, sana lagi pa rin tayong magkaibigan forever and ever,” replied Rich.
For the remaining duos, this was the instruction: “Halikan niyo ang paborito niyong parte ng mukha ng isa’t-isa.”
JC kissed Yasmien’s eyes, saying, “Very expressive [ang mata ni Yasmien]. Malalaman mo kasi sa mata niya kung masaya siya, o malungkot.”
When it was Yasmien’s turn, she kissed JC’s nose. “Maganda yung shape ng ilong niya,” she explained.
Kris and Aljur both kissed the same spot: each other’s eyes.
“Doon ako na-attract kay Kris,” Aljur admitted. “Sa mata. [Ang] lakas ng dating!”
Kris gave a similar reply: “Gusto ko rin mata ni Aljur, at saka yun nga, expressive, like pag nagkakaroon kami ng mga eksena, pag nakatingin siya sa akin, natutunaw ako!”
