It’s time once again for the season of undying love and other romantic notions. And to complete the whole shebang for Valentine’s Day, everyone’s clamoring to find the perfect gift for their loved ones! But what would you like to be when you get turned into a Valentine gift? iGMA asked your favorite Kapuso stars that particular question for this coming Valentine’s Day, and these are their answers. Dingdong Dantes: A pen. So I can write on a giant card. Hahaha!
Jaya: Chocolates. Everybody loves chocolates—matamis, masarap kainin, basta gusto ng lahat.
Michael V: I’ll be a sum of money, para I can be anything. Kasi ganun din 'yung trabaho ko, I can be anybody!
Marian Rivera: Chocolates. Kasi sweet akong tao; no dull moments. Habang kinakain mo yung chocolate, mag-eenjoy ka, at the same time, magugustuhan mo habang tumatagal.
Ogie Alcasid: I am a WOW Magic Sing—alam mo naman, musical. I’ll be singing love songs of course.
Maureen Larrazabal: Hindi naman siya gift but something you can serve on Valentine’s Day. I’ll be the rice, staple, something that you cannot live without at saka bukod dun, I’m sticky.
Lovi Poe: If I were a Valentine gift I would be a song because especially if you wrote it yourself, it’s from the heart; it really means that when you wrote something for that person, that person really means so much to you.
Allan K: A song. Kasi a song would always be a part of someone’s love life, personal life, basta if you feel lonely, you need a song. When you feel happy, you need a song [too].
Chynna Ortaleza: A gift. We’ve been together for four years and hindi naman ako masyadong nag-aadjust so, baka pwede na lang akong maging sewing kit tapos mag-aadjust ako for him (Railey Valerioso).
Aljur Abrenica: Siguro pillow. So every night ginagamit niya para matulog, para magpahinga, makapag-relax, or mag-chat sa phone—every time magagamit niya. Para mapapakinabangan niya by comforting her.
Sheena Halili: Gusto ko pet. Ano kayang magandang pet? Chihuahua! Kasi cute. Saka parang ang sarap kasing damitan. Gusto ko color brown.
JC De Vera: Chocolates. Parang kung ikaw yung chocolate, yung mga babae kasi, sweet para sa kanila kapag binibigyan mo sila ng chocolates, lalo na kapag naka-package. Sweet din sa kanila lalo na kapag kinain.
Glaiza De Castro: I would be a...siguro, rose. Although it sounds cliché, pero kasi ang babae kapag binigyan mo ng rose, parang it symbolizes the beauty—the inner beauty of a woman. Hindi lang siya nakaka-flatter, it also brings up the whole personality. I want to give confidence to other women na hindi pa nahahanap 'yun state na 'yun.
Jen Rosendahl: A genie in a bottle. Para I can grant my partner or date three wishes.
Francine Prieto: Teddy bear, kasi huggable!
Jolo Revilla: I’ll be a diamond, because it’s the most precious gem.
Rhian Ramos: I would be the dinner because it’s a better gift than when you’re given roses. Parang it’s just that amount of time that’s important, it’s when you get to talk, to really spend time together. That should be the point of Valentine’s, it shouldn’t be a Hallmark holiday.
Stef Prescott: Stuffed toy. Kasi hindi siya nauubos kagaya ng chocolates, hindi katulad ng flowers na nasisira. Ang stuffed toy kasi pwede mong dalhin kahit saan, kahit nasa taping ka or natutulog ka.
Gabby Eigenmann: I’ll be a giant card that says everything that I want to say. Lahat ng words na nakalagay doon say all the stuff that I am—parang, ‘This is me.’
Cristine Reyes: Roses. Kasi nandoon na lahat—nagbu-bloom, loving. Nakakatuwa pag nakaka-isip ka ng rose.
