This is what Wendell has to say about his role as Manny Boy Mulingtapang, opposite Gladys Reyes who plays Kelly in "Bahay Mo Ba 'To?"

"Wisik-wisik! Sabay mag-shower, parang ganun!” Wendell explains with a laugh. “So siguro ‘yung mga televiewers, nakaka-relate sila dun, nare-realize nila na pwede pala yung ganun, which is totoo naman!”

Gladys talks about what makes her character click with Wendell. “Siguro kasi kami, friends din naman kami in real life.

Wendell explains the basic plot of the sitcom: “Ang pinaka lesson nitong Bahay Mo ‘To? is parang life goes on, ‘yung kahit na mahirap kayo, continuous yan,  nagmamahalan kayo…at saka story kasi nito is tungkol sa magkapatid, ng kaniya-kaniyang pamilya.”

The siblings that Wendell is referring to are Nene Mulingtapang (Ronaldo Valdez) and Baby Mulingtapang-Benoit (Tessie Tomas), who constantly fight over the rights to the house they are living in. The comedy comes in when viewers see the house which they have deliberately split in half to show who owns which part. The social status of the Mulingtapangs and Benoits are also considerably different, with the Benoits being able to afford better things in life. Nene and Baby’s feud over the house carries over to their respective family members, who also have rivalries of their own.

He tells us more about his character.

For Wendell, the best thing about being in the show is, “Sobrang pamilya kami dito! Lahat siguro kami, mahal namin ‘yung show and ‘yung staff, nararamdaman nila’yun, and ‘yung directors namin, pag nag-feed sa amin, talagang nag-aalagaan kami dito.”
