Everyone knows she is the daughter of veteran actress Jean Garcia. She
has the same pretty face, the same beguiling smile, even the same
expressions. But many are still wondering what the real Jennica Garcia is
like. She shares with iGMA some of her thoughts and opinions.

On Acting

How different is your role as Janet in Pasan Ko ang
Daigdig?
from Karen in Impostora

starsJanet is an additional character.Janet is a rich girl, tapos Karen is poor.
Actually I'm having a hard time.
boyish, kasi dito, she (Janet) is sort of kikay na mayaman na sosyal pero
good naman in nature, may pagka-materialistic din.

How did you prepare for such a different role then?

We have an acting coach, Miss Ann Villegas. Talagang nilapitan ko na siya
'coz I really need help, kasi opposite talaga.

Does your mom give you tips?

Tapos
set aside mo 'yung real Jennica." So that's what I'm doing right now.

Have you seen the original fim, "Pasan Ko ang Daigdig?"

No, actually Mart and I are planning to watch the original film, kaso hindi

starsOn Mart Escudero

So, things with Mart are going well?

Habang tumatagal!
Siyempre may pagka-conscious
'di ba? Babae eh, we can't help it. Pero ngayon, sobrang wala na, sobrang
happy ako kay Mart.

What is he like as a love team partner?

As a love team, he is very supportive. I have this tendency to be really
nervous.
pangyayari, he is always there to calm me down. As a friend, Mart is ok.

You don't mind that the audience knows you as part of a love
team?

I trust GMA eh. Sila naman 'yung nakaka-alam kung saan makakabuti, where I
am and I'm really happy kasi after ng Impostora meron na naman kaming
bagong soap.

On the real Jenica

Who or what inspires you to work?

starsIyong family ko. 'Yung mom ko is a single mom. Now that I have a job, now
that I'm working, hindi na puro paglalaro lang, pa-easy-easy lang. Now I have
responsibilities. I have a brother to take good care of, pag-aaralin ko pa.

What is the most important lesson you have learned in showbiz, so
far?

Kasi pag sinabi, magaling kang umarte,
nagfe-fade siya, so kailangan consistent.

Based on her answers, this gal is certainly not just fluff. She is turning
out to be a substantial, confident young lady ready to take on the
challenges of reel and real life. -- Text by KC M. Abalos. Photos by
