Pasan Ko ang Daigdig does not just pay tribute to a Lino Brocka classic. It aims to celebrate love above all else. The love of a daughter and mother. The love of a woman and her music. The love between two sweethearts. GMA Sinenovela’s version of Pasan Ko ang Daigdig boasts of two love teams that are sure to make the audience’s hearts melt. Text by KC M. Abalos. JC and Yas

starsYasmien Kurdi and JC de Vera team up for the second time in the Sinenovela genre. Because of the success of their first project together, Pati Ba Pintig ng Puso, the two were given another chance to thrill their already growing fan base.

Yasmien shares, “'yung mga fans nagustuhan kami eh. So ni-request ng mga fans na kami muli 'yung sa Pasan Ko ang Daigdig. So naging ganoon dahil doon sa mga request ng fans at viewers.”

During the show’s press conference, JC de Vera also stated that it is always a pleasure to work with Yasmien. The two attest that their working relationship has gotten stronger. As for anything beyond the camera, maybe this particular project will bring them even closer.

Mart and Jennica

According to the press, this is another tandem that seemed unlikely at first. But based on the response of the viewers of Impostora, the Mart Escudero and Jennica Garcia love team is a certified hit!

starsDo they mind being packaged as a pair?

“Ako naman I trust GMA eh. So kung sino 'yung ibigay nila sa akin, sila naman 'yung nakaka-alam kung saan makakabuti where I am." This is according to one of the freshest faces in showbiz, Jennica Garcia.

Mart similarly answers with, “Masaya po kasi magaan na ang loob ko sa kanya. ‘Di na ako namomroblema makisama sa bagong ka love team ko.”

The audience will surely be expecting fireworks when these couples heat up the screen.
