To vote for your favourite Pinoy Idol, tune in to the Pinoy Idol shows every Saturday after Pinoy Records and Sunday after Kap's Amazing Stories and follow the voting instructions given by the Host. The start of the voting period may vary due to program scheduling

Vote for your favourite Idol contestants via text. Each text costs P2.50 for Globe, TM, Smart and Talk 'N Text subscribers and P2.00 for Sun Cellular subscribers. For those under 18, please seek parental consent before participating.

Do not start voting until the voting period is announced. Tune in to the show and wait for the Host's cue to start voting. A mobile number is allowed to cast a maximum of 200 votes per voting cut-off.

1. For the purpose of these terms and conditions, "GMA" means GMA Network, Inc. of GMA Network Center, EDSA corner Timog, Diliman, Quezon City. GMA is the promoter of a number of Pinoy Idol telephony & mobile related services as detailed below including the Text voting.
2. For the purposes of these terms and conditions, the Vote Service Provider is represented by "NMI" referring to New Media, Inc. with office at 12th Floor, GMA Network Center, EDSA corner Timog, Diliman, Quezon City; "Operator" refers to the mobile operators, i.e. Globe, TM, Smart , Talk 'N Text and Sun Cellular.
3. For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions "You", or "Your" refers to you, the customer and user of the services referred to herein ("Services"). By using the Services You are deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions (as may be amended or supplemented from time to time).
4. At its sole and absolute discretion, GMA or the Operator may blacklist any mobile phone number which in its sole opinion is being used to commit any fraudulent act or in any way used to maliciously manipulate the results of the contest.

1. You can cast a vote from your mobile phone by texting IDOL<space>CONTESTANT NAME to 367 for Smart and Talk and Text subscribers, 2344 for other telcos. You can only cast in your votes after the host announces the opening of the voting until 12 noon the next day. Any text votes received (a) before or after the specified voting period for each episode or (b) beyond the maximum 200 votes per mobile number per voting cut-off will be disqualified and will not be counted towards the final result for that episode.   Please note that voting time may vary for each episode.
   
2. Globe, TM, Smart and Talk 'N Text subscribers will be charged P2.50 per text while Sun Cellular network users will be charged P2.00 per text. Some network users may also be charged a standard rate per outgoing text — therefore the total cost of voting is dependent on Your network.
3. In certain circumstances due to volume and Operator network capacity management, text votes sent during the voting period may arrive outside of the voting period, this is beyond the control of GMA and NMI. Such text votes will also be disqualified.
4. Any text votes submitted outside the voting periods, as defined by points 1-3 above, will not be counted but may still be charged by their operator network.
5. NMI adheres strictly to Operator customer care policy on repudiation and reconciliation for their subscribers activities; any claims for fraud, misuse or technical error must be categorically proven before charges can be disputed.
6. For the avoidance of doubt, you will not be entitled to any refund for any disqualified text votes or for any text votes which arrive outside of the specified voting period due to volume and Operator network capacity management and other circumstances beyond the control of GMA and NMI. GMA and NMI shall not be liable for any losses or damages incurred by You in this connection.

1. The Services are available to all Philippines residents — subject to the standard terms and conditions set out herein.
2. Charges for all the Services will be added to Your monthly mobile phone bill. If You are a minor (i.e. below 18 years old), You MUST obtain permission from your parent/guardian and the person who pays for your mobile phone service before purchasing any of the Services.
3. Votes registered using the Pinoy Idol text voting service will be charged. If you are a pre-paid customer, you must ensure you have enough credit to cover the cost of your vote. Only paid votes will be counted.
4. Services herein mentioned are available to Globe, TM, Smart, Talk 'N Text and Sun Cellular customers.
5. In the interests of ensuring a fair and even-handed voting process, GMA will accept votes only from bona fide text / telephone accounts and account holders.
6. You must ensure that all care is taken when sending messages using the text voting service. It is your responsibility to ensure that you dial the correct number and provide the correct information to register a valid vote. GMA and NMI will not be liable for costs incurred, responses received or any other consequences of user error.
7. In order to provide a valid text vote, entrants must submit their entry via a registered mobile phone with a reply path. The text message must be routed via mobile operators network. Automated votes submitted via computer modems, programs or any other means other than a mobile phone as specified above will be deemed as invalid. GMA reserves the right in its sole and absolute discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the voting process which as a result corrupts or affects the administration security, fairness or integrity or proper conduct of a vote. The Producers decision in this matter is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
8. In the absence of block, manipulative, unrepresentative or disproportionate voting patterns, one valid text will count as one vote, however GMA, NMI and FremantleMedia reserve the right in their sole discretion to disqualify or discount:
   1. Any votes cast (or individuals from voting) that tamper with, or attempt to tamper with the voting process;
   2. Any votes however cast (or individuals from voting, who) corrupt or affect (or attempt to corrupt or affect) the administration security, fairness or integrity or proper conduct of a vote or the voting process;
   3. Any votes registered as a result of fraudulent, dishonest or other unlawful activity or in a manner that attempts to unfairly influence the voting process; or.
   4. Any votes that GMA, NMI and FremantleMedia consider being manipulative, unrepresentative, incomprehensible, incomplete or disproportionate.

   GMA, NMI and FremantleMedias decision in this matter is final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into.

   Voters acknowledge that any votes that are discounted, invalidated or disqualified in accordance with the provisions of point 7 and 8 above will still be charged at the advertised rate.
9. GMA and the voting service provider reserve the right to keep all voting tallies confidential. No results other than what is required for the purpose of the format of the programme will be released to the public.
10. You acknowledge and agree that the Services may, from time to time, be adversely affected by events outside GMA's and NMIs control. GMA and NMI will make all reasonable endeavors to ensure the uninterrupted and timely supply of the Services and will take all reasonable steps to correct any error, omission or mistake, but will have no liability whatsoever for any error in, or delay in, or failure in transmission of the Services howsoever caused (whether through the negligence of GMA and/or NMI or otherwise) or any loss, damage, costs or expenses incurred by You directly or indirectly in connection with Your use of the Services.
11. Without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing, GMA and NMI will not be liable to You in any way for failures or delays in the delivery or provision of the Services which are caused by any restrictions imposed by Operators on Your use of premium services.
12. You agree that Your personal data supplied when making an order for the Service may be used by GMA or NMI to monitor the use of the Services, and for any future promotions/campaigns of GMA and/or NMI (whether in connection with "Pinoy Idol" or otherwise). GMA & NMI reserves the right to disclose information about You to applicable regulatory or government bodies where GMA is required by law to disclose this information.
13. From time to time GMA & NMI may be required to amend and/or supplement these terms and conditions and reserves such right. By continuing to use the Services you will be deemed to have accepted the amended and/or supplemented terms and conditions, which will be posted on this website. GMA & NMI reserve the right, without any liability on their part whatsoever, to cancel, modify or supersede any of the Services at any time for any reason whatsoever.
14. If GMA or NMI believes that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions they reserve the right to immediately and without notice withdraw or bar You from using any or all of the Services.
15. Any decisions made by GMA and/or NMI in relation to the use of the Services and these terms and conditions shall be final and no correspondence or enquiries will be entertained.
16. These terms and conditions are governed by Philippines law and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Philippines courts.
17. These terms and conditions may be modified without prior notice, at the sole and absolute discretion of GMA and NMI.
