Ogie Alcasid

One of the most talented artists of his time, Ogie Alcasid is a singer, songwriter, actor, and TV host who shot to fame in 1989 with the hit single "Nandito Ako" in his self-titled debut album. The album went on to achieve gold record status. Of the 18 albums he has since released, five have gone gold, three platinum, and three double platinum. As of this writing, Ogie has received 52 major awards, mostly for his music.

Aside from his musicality, Ogie is also a comedic actor at heart and has starred in several top-rating comedy TV shows since his early days. Presently, he is a mainstay at GMA-7's Bubble Gang, the longest-running sketch comedy TV program in the country, and SOP. As a host, Ogie is always game with honing his skills and appearing in a variety of TV shows. Last year, he co-hosted the highly successful local Freemantle franchise of Celebrity Duets with his current girlfriend, Regine Velasquez.
