Jolina Magdangal is a multi-awarded singer, songwriter, actress, and TV host. Her career started out innocently enough in 1992 when her parents got her to audition for a spot in 14k, a teenage singing group and the brainchild of music legend Ryan Cayabyab. Soon, Jolina started to appear in TV shows one after the other, and before long was also doing TV and print commercials, launching her own albums, making movies, and hosting various TV shows.
Today, Jolina is regularly seen in two GMA-7 TV programs: SOP, a Sunday noontime musical show and Unang Hirit, an early morning magazine talk show. Her most recent movie was the GMA Films horror blockbuster Ouija (2007). She is set to star in the romantic comedy I.T.A.L.Y. (I Trust and Love You) and the sequel to Ouija, both of which are GMA Films productions. She has released eight albums to date and has sold thousands of copies of her records.
