Where do you get your musical talent from?
My mother. She never had voice lessons. Its all gift and its also gift that God sent her people to sing with from whom she could really learn from like Basil Valdez, etc.

What are your hobbies?
Watching movies, reading,having heart-to-heart talks, out-of-town trips.

What music do you listen to?
Soul, neo-soul, a bit of hip-hop, contemporary Gospel music.

Do you play any musical instruments? If yes, at what level?
Only the tambourine.

Why did you apply for Pinoy Idol?
I felt that this is where I could have the opportunity to really sing for many others, and I felt that the show could really present real artists for who they are and who they ought to be. It’s great that the show, I believe would look at the great talent and go beyond the singer as someone whose life inspires and would touch the hearts of the viewers/listeners.

Where do you sing?
Used to do bar gigs at Moomba, Dencio’s Greenhills, The Fort Strip and other bars in the metro- plus functions as well.

Which singers inspire you and why?
Mary J. Blige. Because you could hear in her voice/songs whatever it was she’s going through. She reminds me of myself somehow. She turns from singing for herself to singing for God through others.
Kirk Franklin. He inspires me to sing for God and shows that God is best inspiration for music.

What’s your claim to fame?
My voice and my faith.

What 3 things would you take to a desert island with you?
My journal, a pen and a Bible.

Who in your life has been most inspiring to you? How?
My mother. She inspired me to lead a life surrendered to God. From starting off as a singer, doctor to beyond worldly title into just being a child, dependent on God alone for the control of her life.
